You are know are in for a treat when there is always a line up at lunch time in front of this little take-out Vietnamese Submarine eatery. The family operated eatery has the process down to exact precision, thus you get your sub fresh, fast and always delicious. The dressing they use in the sub is really awesome. One of the best Vietnamese submarine in Calgary.

This family has been feeding me bahn mi for close to 22 years. They have the best Vietnamese subs in Calgary. Literally nothing compares!

The best sub I have ever eaten. If I worked downtown still , i would be there at least every other day for a chicken sub. Now i go maybe once a month. I would recommend this place to anyone. Very clean, the owner washes his hands after every sub.

They need better inventory management for their sate rib - by far their superior sandwich! They also only accept cash. Otherwise fantastic. Don't you know, the place is also Nenshi approved!!

Tried this place with the bf bc it was highly recommended. I was weary bc they don't have a website or IG I could find. But they did not disappoint! The owner and son are super friendly and gave great advice on Banff. They are reasonably priced sandwiches. They do land more on the spicy side, but you can ask for no peppers. We went back twice. Got the Super Combo sate the first time, then pepper beef and sate chicken the second. Wish I could've grabbed some for the flight home. They traveled pretty well (we got them in the am for lunch after hiking, still delicious. Just tell them it's for later and they plastic wrap it for you). Only downside is CASH ONLY. Worth it though.

Best Vietnamese sub place ever! Every time I come back to Calgary for a visit, I always have to make a trip down here to have their subs. (Otherwise the trip feels incomplete in a way). My fav is the satay beef, but honestly, all other options on the menu are equally tasty. I am much preferred Thi Thi over the Banh Mi Boys in Toronto. (Too bad they are on holidays during my visit)

If the meat is spicier than normal, that means that it's been there for a long time and you will have a bad time later on.Tasty, but hygiene isn't good.

One of the two best Banh Mi places in Calgary. There Sate Beef is amazing. As good as the Banh Mi I have enjoyed in Saigon and Danang Vietnam. And the owners are a wonderful family as well. Enjoy

Best sub I have ever had!

The best Banh Mi I’ve ever eaten! The menu on the picture i uploaded is Super Chicken & Beef which is really great.

Their assorted subs was a favourite of mine. Been having them since they were priced $3.25 (years ago!). Getting way too overpriced so I stopped coming. The lard they use to butter the bun is so good though! I always ask for buns to be sent through the toaster twice and with onions for added crisp. There’s always a line especially around lunch hour but they are pretty quick, worth the wait if you have never tried before!

Best in town. Please, do not do Skip The Dishes. Will add to the cost of food, will be a much longer wait (which I don't mind when everyone else is doing the same thing). Don't change a thing!

Amazing subs. Bread is always fresh, well toasted , crunchy on the outside, soft and yet structurally sound enough to hold your ingredients. Meats are flavor packed - I personally love the satay sandwiches - regardless if it's chicken or beef, it's tender, juicy, spicy, saucy, and done just right. The condiments they add make the sandwich so pleasant. It's got this element of creaminess that complements the crispness of the (obviously) fresh veggies so well. Super friendly staff. Just can't get enough of going here. If I were to die happy, it would be to die right after eating their super chicken and beef satay.

Absolutely the best subs in all of Calgary. Perfect in every way. Crazy line ups during 1200-1300, so go before or after to get your sub quickly! I like the chicken, personally. Good prices too.

Been getting subs here for over 20 years. I live in Airdrie and will drive downtown just to buy their subs. They are the best. Prices are great. Most importantly, the owners and their son are great people and I enjoy visiting everytime I go in. Hope they open up again soon because I am going through withdrawals. Need to invent a vietnamese sub patch for those withdrawals. Keep up the great work and hopefully I will still be buying your subs in another 20 years.

Absolutely the best Vietnamese Subs I have ever had. Tried different places, and they never ever come close to Thi Thi. The family that owns and runs it are so friendly and kind. I just wish they would give me their recipe for the Beef Sate..... I will keep asking until they cave😊

Best banh mi in Calgary

Amazing banh mi! Tiny little place with big flavour. After spending some time in Vietnam, I can say that this place is legit. Get the sate beef if you're a spice lover.

Been waiting to try this place, and it did not disappoint! The owner was super friendly, and obviously very passionate about his business. The ingredients are very fresh and plentiful. He told me that they have been there for 29 years! Where have I been all this time? Will be back for sure.

Hands down the best Vietnamese subs in the city. Don't let the lineups scare you off; the wait is always well worth it. This has been a go-to spot for a takeout lunch for me for nearly 20 years. The owners are always seemingly unfazed by the colossal lines and have sandwich making down to an art. Although I often bring lunch to work, I'll stash it in the fridge in a heartbeat if somebody suggests going to Thi Thi.

Best subs-beef satay is my favourite. Great service. The family is friendly, chatty, and remembers a lineup of orders. Be prepared for the lineup and cash only. It is worth waiting for.

I love this place, little family hole in the wall restaurant with good food and portions for the price! Today I went for there for lunch for the first time in years and the 20 min walk from work with 15 min wait was well worth it.

Thi thi makes the best subs in the core and probably even the city. It's a little hole in the wall shop that's been run by the same 3 people for as long as I've been going there. It doesn't look like much from the outside unless you pass by at lunch, in which case there will be always be a long line. If you're in a rush, go somewhere else because you're going to wait in that line for a good 20 minutes. It is absolutely worth the wait though. I don't work in the core anymore and I'll make a trip in just for the sub a few times each summer. Cash only.

I went here yesterday and I vow not to have a vietnamese submarine from anywhere else in Calgary but here. Never had sub remotely has excellent then this. Still in shock and awe. Mesmerized. Friendly and upbeat tight knit family running this tiny joint as well.
